In our last Blog/Post we shared a remarkable article that was shared with our Entertainment Co., from the remarkable Ms. Mary Brown who has for years been leading/organizing the feeding of a Feast for the Homeless every Christmas right here in Raleigh, NC - Moore Square downtown.

HUNDREDS of Homeless people through-out the community will be attending, in fact this is there Christmas Gift - food, imagine that food being a gift but its an amazing feast, and how fortunate most of us are who are reading this to be doing the exact same thing but with your families indoors.  And so we invite you to come out and meet us as Music In Motion will be supplying music, and Snap Shot Photo Booth will also be in attendance under 100% Sponsorship as we love to support our Community any chance we can get even if it is on Christmas! 
12:NOON - 3:pm is the time and again its a Feast so whether you are Homeless or not its free to all!

Moore Square Christmas day dinner

For Mary Brown, the holidays are about giving, not receiving.  On Christmas Day, for the ninth year running, she and a large group of friends and volunteers will serve a feast to the homeless and hungry in Moore Square.

The annual event started when Brown, Pam Stocks, Jeff Stocks, Kelly Hollis, and Wil O’Neal decided to serve food to the needy on Thanksgiving.  They brought a ham, a turkey, and a few sides to Moore Square; all disappeared quickly. Brown says she’ll never forget the little girl who came for a meal after all the food was gone. Brown took her to a nearby McDonald’s. 

That day made an impression, and next year, they moved it to Christmas. A lot of groups already give out food for Thanksgiving, Brown realized, and many places are closed Christmas Day. “A lot of people don’t eat on Christmas,” she says. “I got the idea we had to keep doing this.”

So did the community: “It started getting bigger and bigger, and now it’s just really big,” Brown says. Over 200 people were fed last year, and around 60 volunteers came to help. This year, she’s expecting even more.

“You’ve never seen so many people that are just happy and gracious,” says O’Neal, who is co-owner of Winston’s Grille with Charles Winston Jr., which contributes to the event. “Mary … is a wonderful, wonderful woman.”

Brown is quick to thank Winston’s and the other donors who make it all happen: Harris Teeter, Red Lobster, K&W Cafeteria, and food trucks like Ribs by Art donate food; the restaurants Mandolin and Margaux’s lend their kitchens and coolers to prepare and store food ahead of time.

The buffet stretches across the park, and it’s impressive: turkey, ham, biscuits, mac ’n’ cheese, collards, hot dogs, cake, ice cream, and even a whole pig. People are allowed to take as much as they want, and Brown gives any leftovers to local neighborhoods in need. A tin of sandwiches is left at the park, in case anyone hungry comes by in the evening, and Brown makes sure socks, gloves, and toothbrushes are distributed, too.

“I don’t do this because I have to, it’s because I want to,” says Brown. “There’s just so much love … it’s really good.”

Groom & Grandmother Dance, priceless

Over at the Stockroom,  https://www.thestockroomat230.com/ an elite banquet facility rooted within the heart of Raleigh on Fayetteville Street, The Stockroom at 230 presents Brides and Grooms a simple and sophisticated setting to tie the knot.  This recent wedding of Michelle and Eric which took place at the Stockroom was truly another successful Summer wedding.  We caught this one picture that was truly an emotional one during the celebration.  This picture is a top pic in the running for Wedding Winner for 2018.  

An Elderly Grandmother unfortunately suffering from multiple sclerosis gets up off her Wheel Chair to take the opportunity to dance with her Grandson the Groom (Eric), priceless.  Our Team catches some really special moments through-out the Season of Weddings/Events and this is why our slogan has always been;

1st Snow of 2018 - lost power, SRclosed

Yep, we got 3inches here at The Home of The Interactive Showroom (SR) forcing us to close today Monday December 10th due to no power as well as Safety for our Team and re-scheduled appts.  

May we add it was heavy wet snow causing branches around our SR to fall thus taking down power lines and as you can see we managed to shovel the slush away, Duke Energy is currently working hard at our SR to restore power, although there are a lot worse people affected than us and so be safe everyone as this is now predicted to freeze being below freezing later in the day.

A Bride's Huge Smile @ Oakland Farm

Oakland Farm, https://oaklandfarmvenue.com/ is a beautiful landscaped view in every direction and an ideal location for that very special rustic event or rustic Wedding located in Beer Creek, NC.  The successful wedding of Mr. & Mrs. Moore held their Wedding Ceremony outside the Barn (reception) of Oakland Farms in a covered overhead that had a walk way leading to the Ceremony again that had scenic views that seem to go on for miles and miles in every direction.

As many of you may be aware our Entertainment Director a.k.a. operations manager and Wedding DJ,  Mr. Steve Max here at the Home Of The Interactive Showroom had been out of work for an unfortunate blood clot injury in the right leg calf over this past Summer.  This injury has unfortunately caused Mr. Max to be out of the Showroom since May 9th thru September 10th due to surgery, not being able to stand, walk, lift, etc., as well as being out through the the recovery process, and medical direction.  We are Blogging/Posting this now because many of you may be confused if Mr. Max is in fact back here at the Home Of The Interactive Showroom or Not, He is:-) and/or how long Mr. Max has been out of work, He is in fact now back full-time (919) 880 - 2625.  Although many of you have been notified through our company Blog/Post months prior that Mr. Max was in fact back at work - he honestly was not back at work until September 10th.  Our Entertainment Company Blogged/Posted months prior that Mr. Max was back at work for comfort reasons.   We sincerely apologize that we exaggerated that he was back at work prior to September 10th however, he was receiving calls/making calls on everyone's behalf and not being paid for this time of absence but to assure all of you that he will be OK.  Mr. Max  was able to accept/make calls on behalf of the company and this again simply for comfort reasons on behalf of the company while in recovery.  Our Entertainment Company wanted all our existing Clients as well as our potential Clients to know that you had absolutely nothing to worry about and although the exaggeration has been said and done, at the end of the day know that no one still has absolutely has nothing to worry about!  That was then and this is now.  SO Get ready everyone as we move forward all back together again as one complete Team, ready to serve you 110%, and this will include amazing successful Blog/Posts beginning this week!!  Feel The Sound Productions, (about-us) with Music In Motion DJs, (website) the Home of The DJ/MC Interactive Showroom, a “real” experienced Disc Jockey wedding/event TEAM, supplying Karaoke, (Sing-Song-or-Sing-Along)  Décor LED ambient wall up-lighting, (photo-gallery) our specialty DRY ICE, DRY-ICE “dancing on a cloud” for the Wedding First Dance, together with Feel The Moment Photography, (Packages) together with Snap Shot Photobooth entertainment company appreciates your understanding with our exaggeration.  While we move forward gearing up for a variety of successful Blogs/Posts please take a moment to view our past successful events/weddings by considering the following resources;
